Exeter CC 60 point weekend
Saturday 16th July saw all three Exeter teams pick up the maximum 20 points resulting in the 1st XI moving up to third, the 2nd XI closing the gap on leaders Plymouth and the 3rd XI moving top of the table.
Notable performances from the weekend came from Miles Lenygon who narrowly missed out on his second century of the season with a knock of 97. Callum Still continued his superb form with the ball and took 4 more wickets taking his season tally to 27. For the 2s, run machine Sean Langford carried his bat for 78 after Adam Smith rattled through 5 Budleigh wickets for 27 runs. However, performance of the day can only go to one man, Dave Richardson rescued the 3rd XI from 40-4 to a total of 249 as he hit his maiden century. He combined his 120 runs with 4 wickets to bowl Kilmington out of the game. Well done Dave and well done Exeter CC!
Next week see's the 1st XI take on Sandford who are second. The 2s take on a strong North Devon team and the 3s take on league challengers Seaton. Good luck, and let the good run of results continue.
